Robinson impressive in Starkville
At 6-foot-8 and over 300-pounds, Damien Robinson undoubtedly gets attention wherever he goes.
But Friday night the Olive Branch four-star offensive tackle had a pair of coaches from Mississippi State keeping close tabs on his every move. Head coach Dan Mullen and offensive line coach John Hevesy made the trip across town on the eve of the Florida game to watch Robinson take on Starkville.
"It felt good (to have two Mississippi State coaches come)," Robinson said. "Obviously they are really interested in me. They think I can become a better player at the next level. It felt good to have them come and watch me."
Robinson will make a return trip to Starkville on Nov. 14 for the Alabama game. He attended his first college game of the season Saturday venturing across the state line to watch Alabama and Tennessee.
Robinson has offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Southern Miss and UAB.
