West Virginia has been involved with Elkton (Md.) Eastern Christian Academy cornerback Jahmere Irvin-Sills since early in his recruitment and the Rivals.com three-star prospect update WVSports.com on his recruitment and visit plans for the summer.

Irvin-Sills, 5-foot-11, 170-pounds has been busy lately making stops at both the New Jersey VTO camp, where he earned DB MVP honors, and the Nike NFTC camp in Baltimore. With 10-scholarship offers already in hand, camping combines aren't a necessity for the talented corner, but he thrives on the competition.

"There were a lot of good defensive backs and I did the best I could do," he said. "I like going out there and competing with the other guys that are top prospects. I enjoy myself and learn from my mistakes."
