Next WR in line at Independence?

TarHeelIllustrated.com Mario Raley. Then Mohamed Massaquoi. Most recently - and mainly known to the Tar Heels - it's Hakeem Nicks. In the seemingly, never-ending talent pipeline at Charlotte, N.C., Independence, another split end has emerge as a major national prospect.
Jason Barnes, a 6-4, 196-pound receiver, went from a little-used junior starter to a big-time recruit on April 29 at the Nike Camp in Athens, Ga.
Barnes claimed a 4.45-second 40-yard dash and a 4.37-second shuttle. He also showed good hands and explosiveness in the receiver drills and made his share of plays in the one-on-ones.
"I didn't know he would run that fast," Independence coach Tom Knotts said.
