Holmes takes in A&M
The Texas A&M men's basketball program took a shot in the arm with an improbable run to the NCAA tournament second round with only a Darrel Mitchell three-pointer at the buzzer allowing LSU to move past the Aggies into the Sweet 16.
The first shot heard in the recruiting world came when the No. 8 player in the nation, DeAndre Jordan, committed to A&M in July.
The 5-foot-10, 160-pound Rivals.com three-star prospect committed to Texas A&M over scholarship offers from Kentucky, Charlotte and Michigan.
