One of Auburn's biggest concerns entering the regular season was depth at linebacker.

Saturday, during the Tigers' 37-13 win over Louisiana Tech, Adam Herring proved capable of stepping in and playing a significant role.

Though Herring registered just two tackles, he played 55 snaps and helped the Tigers to a tremendous defensive effort. Herring's performance drew praise from defensive coordinator Ted Roof.
