I'm trying to put my hog helmet back up as my avatar and I keep getting the message "Your avatar was invalid. You may enter a file that is 100 x 100 and up to 35,000 bytes". Whats up with this? It worked before.

I'm seeing a "Bandwidth exceeded" image. Don't know if that's because Photobucket is having issues or if it's not posted properly. Did you use the HTML code option when you posted it?

The size of the image is 74 x 74. I tried both the HTML code and the direct link, which I used before. I upgraded to pro today and should not be having any problems, but it is photobucket and I'm not impressed so far with them.

When I had that signature with all the recruits rotating through it took up a bunch of bandwith so I ended up moving that particular picture to a account I created for free that has unlimited bandwith.

Think the hosting thing I use is imgboot.com....I don't know much about it but I know its free and it hosted that recruits picture just fine. May want to think about moving to that if it works for what you're doing and you don't want to fork up 10 bucks a month or w/e it is with photobucket.

As for your avatar, without seeing the actual html for the image (all we see is a bandwith exceeded picture) I would guess that once photobucket shows your signature it may correctly show your avatar...but it does make me believe thats not the case when you get the 'avatar is invalid' deal.

Are you sure your avatar is also not more than 35 KB's? Remember approx 1000 bytes = 1kb. So 35,000 bytes = 35 kb's which is really a SMALL amount for a picture. I'd check that out.

But if you are sure that the picture is less than 35 kb's and less than 100x100 my money would be on something screwy with your photobucket accout since it still is not showing your sig properly.
