I agree 100% about the career politicians. Oklahoma just fired one in the primaries. Nationally though, term limits are never going to happen b/c the same folks that could make it law are unfortunately the same folks that would lose their cashcow over it. Sadly, many people simply vote for the name they are familiar with. I bet it woud be surprising how many people still think they are voting for David Pryor and are unaware that it is his son. Once somebody gets in, they have to really screw up to ever get  voted out. Sometimes not even then.

The original bill was too long and messy by design. They did not want it understood, debated, or even read for that matter. And Obama does not want it tweaked. Now that it is in, he has no reason to. The tweaking should have happened before it was voted on. It's to late now. You need to grasp, this has never been about affordable healthcare for the masses. This has been about government control of all things financial.

You need to fear the government. Governments have historically killed more people, taken more freedom, and destroyed more lives than any individuals or natural disasters by a huge margin. Our forefathers set us up a government  designed to empower the individual and restrict the power the government could wield over it's citzens. We, through the very career politicians you mentioned, activist judges, and  mostly people not caring enough to notice or not bright enough to see the big picture are lettiing our freedom slip away by the day.

Sad thing is, as long as  the outcome suits us, we tend to ignore when others rights  are taken away. Truth is, once those rights are gone we won't ever get them back. And sooner or later, they will start taking away stuff that doesn't suit us either.

It doesn't matter what they say obamacare will cost. It will cost far, far more  than that. Of which more willl be wasted, stolen, used for paybacks to political allies, spent on unneeded bureaucratic jobs, etc. than will be ever be spent on actual healthcare. That is how government works. Name one efficient government program? Name one that ever cost less than projected or even  approached its budget? They don't exist. It amazes me that  some people continue to think runng things through the government is ever going to be a wise thing to do when history, both ancient and recent, show overwhelmingly what an overpriced mess the government makes every time.
