Why do conservatives think the rich will work harder if we give them more, and the poor will work harder if we give them less?

Maybe because the core of the movement is in fact, the rich themselves.

Conservatives don't care any more for the rich than the do for the poor. Conservatives believe in helping the poor, first by helping them help themselves. Conservatives believe in giving their labor and money to help those who truly are unable to help themselves. The amount of money possessed by anyone is purely a measure of his potential to affect peoples' lives.

People like the Koch brothers invest their money in manufacturing, which creates jobs.

Gyorgy Schwartz, OTOH, invests in derivates, which he used to bring down several foreign economies. He also devalued the Pound by 10 billion.

All three men are political donors. The latter OWNS about 75 liberal organizations in addition to funding candidates.

Zen, please become more informed about what Conservatives are.

It's true. Conservatives believe in direct help... Liberal believe in government programs.
