Reier's Review: Sunday PM Quick Hits

*The Crimson Tide capped its first two-a-day by working out in shoulder pads and helmets in muggy conditions this afternoon.

*Sophomore offensive guard Marlon Davis made his first appearance at practice since Wednesday. With B.J. Stabler and Mike Johnson wearing orange jerseys, Davis found himself working with first-team offense at right guard. The question is: Is Davis committed to becoming the player everyone knows he can be? Only time will tell.

*Eleven-on eleven highlights: John Parker Wilsonv completed 7 of 15 passes, including 4 of 5 during the two-minute drill that ended the workout. With just three seconds remaining on the mobile game clock and the first-team offense deep inside the red zone, Wilson rolled to his right before lofting a mini-Hail Mary back across the field that wide receiver [db]Nikita Stover caught for a touchdown. Marc Guillon completed 2 of 7 passes. On the second-team offense's lone shot at the two-minute drill, cornerback Eric Gray stepped in front of a Guillon pass in the left flat and bolted for what would have been a touchdown for the defense.
