Clausell taking official visit to Starkville
Mobile, Ala., offensive tackle Blaine Clausell will make his third visit to Mississippi State this season but this time will be different.
This visit will be official allowing Clausell to get a closer look at his future surroundings where he will be enrolling in just a matter of weeks.
"I'm expecting it to be just like a second home," Clausell said. "I've already been up there so many times but this time I just get to stick around for longer than just the game. I should have some fun up there."
Clausell committed to the Bulldogs prior to his trip for the Big Dawgs Camp in late July and has made the trek to Starkville for the Florida and Alabama games this year enabling him to get a sense of what game days are like at Davis Wade Stadium.
"I've never been to a place like that before," Clausell said. "It's real loud and exciting. I'm used to about 75 people showing up to the game and just sitting there and usually leaving after the third quarter."
After word spread of his pledge to the Bulldogs, Clausell became the target for plenty of trash talk on the field this season.
