Bulldogs add four-star WR

Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen has made it a point to sign the top talent out of the state of Mississippi.

He has also emphasized the importance of signing a bevy of wideouts to run his spread offense. Mullen added another one to the fold today when four-star prospect Robert Johnson decided to be a Bulldog.

The six-foot, 196-pound standout from Oak Grove High School made his choice following an in home visit with MSU coaches earlier this week.

"I've got a good relationship with the whole coaching staff," Johnson said. "Not just one coach, but the whole coaching staff. I talk to Coach Mullen a lot on Facebook and we've got a real good connection."

Johnson picked the Bulldogs over offers from Auburn, Kentucky, Louisiana Tech, Louisville, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Tulsa and West Virginia.
