Playoffs showcase top in-state talent




Several in-state prospects will hit the field again this Friday night as teams around the Natural State enter the second week of the state playoffs.

Here's a look at where fans can find some of the state's best players in action:

There are a number of games to watch in the state's largest classification, but it starts with West Memphis traveling to No. 1 Bentonville. West Memphis linebacker Jarvis Cooper, 6-0, 242, 4.6, is currently No. 4 on my list of in-state juniors, and it'd come as no surprise if he were to land an offer from the Razorbacks sometime before his senior year. Bentonville is loaded with solid prospects, as well, including a pair of seniors in running back Tearris Wallace and Arkansas State linebacker commit Garrett Kaufman. Junior tight end Jack Kraus was No. 10 on my most recent 2014 rankings...
