Coach makes silent hires

New Razorback head coach Bret Bielema has hired a running back coach and a linebacker coach to join four assistant coaches who have already been announced, but he's not telling who the new guys are until after their current teams play their bowl games.

Bielema has also been busy on the recruiting trail and signed five junior college players on Wednesday, including two who were not committed to the Razorbacks prior to him being announced as the new head Hog. One of them, Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College linebacker Martrell Spaight will have to take another course to satisfy SEC junior college transfer rules - something he would not have had to do had he signed with Kansas State. As a result, Spaight will not be able to go through spring drills at Arkansas.
