Top Louisiana athlete camps at A&M

Thibodaux (LA) junior-to-be Trovon Reed could likely be used as an example of why Rivals.com has a category called 'athlete' for players who could project to a number of positions in college.

The class of 2010 prospect does just about everything for his high school team. He is also capable of lining up almost anywhere on the field at the next level. His prowess is not just limited to the football field, either.

"I played receiver, quarterback, running back, free safety, cornerback, kick returner, punt returner, pretty much everything," said the 6-foot, 172-pound Reed. "At my school, wherever my coach tells me to play, I just play it. He's got me all over. I think I had 16 or 17 touchdowns on offense and five interceptions on defense.

"I run track and play basketball, too. I've been on varsity in basketball and football since my freshman year. In track, I run the 4 by 100 (meter relay), the 4 by 200, the open 200 and the open 400. My best time in the open 200 is 22 (seconds) flat."
