MSU commit takes in spring practice
One of Mississippi State's early commitments for the 2010 class took time Tuesday afternoon to come by the Bulldogs first spring practice.
West Lowndes athlete Brandon Hill made the short trip from his home in Crawford, Miss., to watch Dan Mullen's first practice as the new head coach of MSU.
Attending the practice helped excite Hill even more about his decision to become a Bulldog.
"The first thing that I thought was I'm ready to get out there because I want some," Hill said.
It was initially thought that Hill would be brought in as either a safety or an outside linebacker but Mullen has something else in mind for the 6-foot-2, 208-pounder.
"I was speaking with Coach Mullen and he said the best position for me to be fitted at right now was wide receiver," Hill said. "I actually like receiver more than anything else but I was going to play defense because I am good at it and that's what the coaches wanted me to play. But I always wanted to play receiver."
Hill came to the Bulldogs first junior day but got an opportunity to meet with more of his future teammate on Tuesday afternoon at practice.
