Atlanta DB back in Auburn Saturday

Jonathan Mincy liked Auburn so much after his first visit, he was back on the Plains Saturday, just four days later.

This time, the Decatur (Ga.) SW Dekalb cornerback brought along his entire family.

"I wanted my family to see what I saw the other day," Mincy said. "I felt like this was a great environment and I wanted my family to get a chance to see that."

Apparently, Auburn was just as impressive to Mincy's parents.

"They liked it," Mincy said. "They liked what I had seen. It's a good environment. I told them it was like a second home to me when I came and they feel the same way.

"The first thing (my mom) really cares about is academics. They really stress it up here. I really like that."

The Mincy family arrived too late to see AU's scrimmage Saturday but spent a lot of time touring AU's campus and facilities and meeting with assistant coach Tommy Thigpen.
