Ranking them all: Rivals.com 120 at 1:20

Here is the eighth Rivals.com 1-120 ranking of the season.

How do we come up with the rankings? Well, we wait until after Week 5 to release our first set. And there are numerous variables at play, chief among them who a team has beaten and where. While we have a "what have you done for me lately?" mindset, we also consider the rankings a snapshot of the whole season, not just one game; that's why -- at times -- teams are ranked below a team they may have beaten. In addition, if a tiebreaker is needed, it's who we think would win on a neutral field.

We update these every Tuesday at 1:20 p.m. Eastern time, so if your team isn't where you think it should be, check back in a week.

And one more thing: The reason there are no FCS teams in here is simple. It's the ranking of the 120 FBS teams.

On to the rankings:

Mike Huguenin's 120 at 1:20
1. Oregon (10-0)
BUZZ: Maybe the week off means the Oregon offense will be revitalized. RB LaMichael James could use a big game to liven up his Heisman "candidacy." NEXT: vs. Arizona, Friday
2. Auburn (11-0)
BUZZ: It's Iron Bowl week. If you live in Alabama, nothing else needs to be said. NEXT: at Alabama, Friday
3. TCU (11-0)
BUZZ: Let's say you're unbeaten, have just one regular-season game remaining and can pick any FBS school in the country to be that final opponent. Chances are, more than a few teams would pick New Mexico -- and, gee, look who TCU gets Saturday. NEXT: at New Mexico, Saturday
4. Boise State (10-0)
BUZZ: Boise State easily dispatched Fresno State last week; this week, high-powered Nevada awaits in what is the last true hurdle between Boise and a perfect regular season. NEXT: at Nevada, Friday
5. Stanford (10-1)
BUZZ: A lot of attention has been given to Stanford's offense, but don't overlook the defense. The Cardinal have given up 44 total points in the past four games. NEXT: vs. Oregon State, Saturday
6. Wisconsin (10-1)
BUZZ: The Badgers are in great shape to represent the Big Ten in the Rose Bowl -- assuming they beat Northwestern. NEXT: vs. Northwestern, Saturday
7. LSU (10-1)
BUZZ: LSU didn't look all that good against Ole Miss. On the other hand, the Tigers won and that's the object of the game. They need to win again this week to keep their at-large BCS hopes alive. NEXT: vs. Arkansas in Little Rock, Ark., Saturday
8. Ohio State (10-1)
BUZZ: The Buckeyes will look to take care of business against their archrivals, and they also wouldn't mind seeing Wisconsin and Michigan State lose so they don't have to share the Big Ten title. NEXT: vs. Michigan, Saturday
9. Oklahoma State (10-1)
BUZZ: Oklahoma State has lost seven in a row to Oklahoma. But if the Cowboys win this year's version of the "Bedlam Game," they win the Big 12 South in what was supposed to be a rebuilding season. NEXT: vs. Oklahoma, Saturday
10. Michigan State (10-1)
BUZZ: The Spartans just scraped by against Purdue last week and will need to play better this week to beat Penn State. A win means that, at the least, the Spartans will share the Big Ten title. NEXT: at Penn State, Saturday
11. Alabama (9-2)
BUZZ: The past two seasons, Alabama was the hunted and Auburn the hunter. This time, though, Auburn comes in with national title aspirations, and the Tide certainly wouldn't mind spoiling that party. NEXT: vs. Auburn, Friday
12. Arkansas (9-2)
BUZZ: The Hogs quietly have put together a five-game winning streak. RB Knile Davis has given them a legit running threat, and the defense has improved as the season has progressed. A win over LSU could mean a BCS invitation for the Hogs. NEXT: vs. LSU in Little Rock, Ark., Saturday.
13. Nebraska (9-2)
BUZZ: Remember all that talk about how the Huskers were prime national title contenders? It was premature. Now, they had better beat the Buffs or risk finishing second in their division. NEXT: vs. Colorado, Friday
14. Missouri (9-2)
BUZZ: The Tigers are in great shape to at least tie for the Big 12 North title. Still, they are going to look back on a loss to Texas Tech and wonder how that happened. NEXT: vs. Kansas in Kansas City, Mo., Saturday
15. Oklahoma (9-2)
BUZZ: OU has won the past seven "Bedlam Games" and will be looking to beat their in-state foe to forge a tie atop the Big 12 South standings. NEXT: at Oklahoma State, Saturday
16. Virginia Tech (9-2)
BUZZ: The Hokies have won nine in a row and clinched the ACC Coastal title over the weekend. NEXT: vs. Virginia, Saturday
17. Texas A&M (8-3)
BUZZ: A&M has won five in a row and has a chance for its first 10-win season since 1998. Hmm -- wonder if coach Mike Sherman is chuckling a bit. NEXT: at Texas, Thursday
18. South Carolina (8-3)
BUZZ: The Gamecocks toyed with Troy and now look to beat up on their in-state archrival. NEXT: at Clemson, Saturday
19. Utah (9-2)
BUZZ: The Utes got back on track in rallying to beat San Diego State. Now, they get ready for the last "Holy War" in the Mountain West Conference. NEXT: vs. BYU, Saturday
20. N.C. State (8-3)
BUZZ: The Wolfpack were supposed to struggle this season, but if they win at Maryland on Saturday, they will wear the ACC Atlantic Division crown. NEXT: at Maryland, Saturday
21. Florida State (8-3)
BUZZ: FSU needs some help to win the ACC Atlantic, i.e., a Maryland win over N.C. State. But FSU also needs to worry about snapping its six-game losing streak to the Gators. NEXT: vs. Florida, Saturday
22. Arizona (7-3)
BUZZ: The Wildcats have lost two in a row, but they can gain back some respect if they can win at what should be a wild and crazy Autzen Stadium on Friday. NEXT: at Oregon, Friday
23. Air Force (8-4)
BUZZ: The Falcons packaged two three-game winning streaks around a three-game losing streak, and they're taking some momentum into their bowl appearance. NEXT: Bowl game, TBA
24. Iowa (7-4)
BUZZ: A season with great promise instead has become a disappointment. The fourth-quarter defense has been an issue. NEXT: at Minnesota, Saturday
25. Nevada (10-1)
BUZZ: The Wolf Pack have improved on defense this season. But have they improved enough to slow Boise State? NEXT: vs. Boise State, Friday
26. Mississippi State (7-4)
BUZZ: The Bulldogs' four losses have come to Auburn, Alabama and LSU, which means those four losses have come to teams with a combined five losses. NEXT: at Ole Miss, Saturday
27. USC (7-4)
BUZZ: Just when it seemed as if USC had regained its balance, the Trojans went to Corvallis and -- what else? -- lost again. NEXT: vs. Notre Dame, Saturday
28. Miami (7-4)
BUZZ: Virginia Tech dominated late in beating UM this past Saturday. This week, an in-state foe comes to town, and Jacory Harris is back at quarterback. NEXT: vs. USF, Saturday
29. West Virginia (7-3)
BUZZ: If WVU wants to win the Big East, it needs to beat Pitt and get some help. Regardless of title implications, the "Backyard Brawl" always is nasty. NEXT: at Pittsburgh, Friday
30. Penn State (7-4)
BUZZ: The Nittany Lions can improve their bowl positioning if they can beat Michigan State this weekend. NEXT: vs. Michigan State, Saturday
31. Michigan (7-4)
BUZZ: The Wolverines gave up 558 yards to Wisconsin on Saturday, the fifth time this season they had surrendered at least 535. NEXT: at Ohio State, Saturday
32. San Diego State (7-4)
BUZZ: One week after falling just short against TCU, the Aztecs fell just short to Utah. Their four losses have come by a combined 15 points. NEXT: vs. UNLV, Saturday
33. Northern Illinois (9-2)
BUZZ: NIU will be the MAC West representative in the league title game. The Huskies have won eight in a row and scored at least 45 in half of those wins. NEXT: at Eastern Michigan, Friday
34. Florida (7-4)
BUZZ: The Gators did what they needed to do in routing Appalachian State, and now they look to increase their winning streak against the Seminoles to seven. NEXT: at Florida State, Saturday
35. Northwestern (7-4)
BUZZ: Maybe the weird rules at Wrigley Field confused them, but the Wildcats evidently forgot that tackling still was allowed against Illinois RB Mikel Leshoure. NEXT: at Wisconsin, Saturday
36. Navy (8-3)
BUZZ: The Midshipmen have won six of their past seven -- the loss in that span was to Duke(!?!?) -- and now get two weeks off to prepare for their archrivals. NEXT: vs. Army in Philadelphia, Dec. 11
37. UCF (8-3)
BUZZ: If the Knights beat a horrible Memphis team this week, they win the C-USA East title and will be the host team in the league championship game. NEXT: at Memphis, Saturday
38. Pittsburgh (6-4)
BUZZ: Pitt can eliminate West Virginia from the Big East title chase with a win in the "Backyard Brawl." That the Panthers can enhance their own title chances just makes it all the more meaningful. NEXT: vs. West Virginia, Friday
39. Baylor (7-5)
BUZZ: The defense collapsed down the stretch. But by then, the Bears already had clinched a winning record and knew they would be going bowling. NEXT: Bowl game, TBA
40. North Carolina (6-5)
BUZZ: A depleted roster looks to have caught up with the Tar Heels, who have lost three of their past five. NEXT: at Duke, Saturday
41. Tulsa (8-3)
BUZZ: Tulsa rebounded from a disappointing season in 2009 to contend in the C-USA West this season. If the defense ever could play as well as the offense, the Golden Hurricane would rule the league. NEXT: vs. Southern Miss, Friday
42. Illinois (6-5)
BUZZ: The Illini stopped their two-game losing streak in impressive fashion, running over, through and around Northwestern. Now that they are bowl eligible, they need to be worried about trying to better their bowl positioning. NEXT: at Fresno State, Saturday
43. Kansas State (6-5)
BUZZ: The Wildcats have lost four of their past five, with the only win a rout of Texas. The defense has had some issues down the stretch. NEXT: at North Texas, Saturday
44. Notre Dame (6-5)
BUZZ: The Irish became bowl eligible with the win over Army. Now the question is where they're going to end up. NEXT: at USC, Saturday
45. Georgia Tech (6-5)
BUZZ: The Yellow Jackets became bowl eligible with last week's win over Duke. Next up is a trip to Athens, where they'll try for revenge after the Bulldogs won in Atlanta last season. NEXT: at Georgia, Saturday
46. Georgia (5-6)
BUZZ: This has been a trying season for the Bulldogs, but they can gain a measure of satisfaction -- and become bowl eligible -- with a win over their in-state rival. NEXT: vs. Georgia Tech, Saturday
47. Clemson (6-5)
BUZZ: The defense has been solid this season, and the unit ranks ninth nationally in total defense. The offense, though, has been inconsistent, mainly because the passing attack scares no one. NEXT: vs. South Carolina, Saturday
48. Texas Tech (6-5)
BUZZ: The Red Raiders became bowl eligible by clobbering FCS member Weber State. All in all, though, this has not been a good first season for coach Tommy Tuberville. NEXT: vs. Houston, Saturday
49. Connecticut (6-4)
BUZZ: The Huskies have caught fire late -- but it might be too late to win the Big East. How in the world did they lose to Rutgers? NEXT: vs. Cincinnati, Saturday
50. Maryland (7-4)
BUZZ: The Terps' hopes of winning the ACC Atlantic went by the boards last week; now, they'll be in spoiler mode against NC State. NEXT: vs. NC State, Saturday
51. Southern Miss (8-3)
BUZZ: If not for an inexplicable loss to a bad UAB team, the Golden Eagles would be in the driver's seat in the East Division of Conference USA. They have a tough one Friday, though. NEXT: at Tulsa, Friday
52. Oregon State (5-5)
BUZZ: The Beavers looked good -- really good -- in beating up on USC. Where has that type of effort been? Still, they have to beat either Stanford or Oregon to become bowl eligible. NEXT: at Stanford, Saturday
53. Syracuse (7-4)
BUZZ: Big East title hopes ended with this past Saturday's loss to UConn, but the Orange are bowl-bound and that's a tremendous achievement in coach Doug Marrone's second season. NEXT: vs. Boston College, Saturday
54. Ohio U. (8-3)
BUZZ: The Bobcats took a huge step toward winning the MAC East title by beating Temple last week; they wrap up the division if they beat Kent State. NEXT: at Kent State, Friday
55. Temple (8-3)
BUZZ: The Owls faltered against Ohio U. last Tuesday and now must beat Miami (Ohio) to finish second in the MAC East. NEXT: at Miami (Ohio), Tuesday
56. California (5-6)
BUZZ: One week after almost beating Oregon, the Golden Bears got their doors blown in by Stanford. Now, they have to beat Washington to go bowling. NEXT: vs. Washington, Saturday
57. USF (6-4)
BUZZ: Any hopes for the Big East title ended with this past Saturday's loss to Pitt. Now, the Bulls can shift their focus to beating an in-state "big brother." NEXT: at Miami, Saturday
58. Kentucky (6-5)
BUZZ: Kentucky has lost 25 in a row to Tennessee. If the Wildcats don't beat the Vols this season, you wonder if it ever will happen again. NEXT: at Tennessee, Saturday
59. Hawaii (8-3)
BUZZ: The Warriors lead the nation in passing and have scored at least 41 points six times in the past eight games. NEXT: at New Mexico State, Saturday
60. Iowa State (5-7)
BUZZ: The Cyclones had some solid wins this season, but a late-season swoon of sorts cost them a shot at a bowl bid. NEXT: Season over
61. Texas (5-6)
BUZZ: The Longhorns must beat the hated Aggies if they want to go bowling. Remember: This is a program that played in the national title game last season. NEXT: vs. Texas A&M, Thursday
62. Arizona State (4-6)
BUZZ: It looks as if coach Dennis Erickson is going to return next season; financially, the school might not be able to afford to get rid of him. NEXT: vs. UCLA, Friday
63. Boston College (6-5)
BUZZ: BC has won four in a row to become bowl eligible. The offense has been horrible all season, but the defense has saved the day. NEXT: at Syracuse, Saturday
64. Tennessee (5-6)
BUZZ: The Vols need one more win to become bowl eligible. Luckily for them, this week's foe is Kentucky, and the Vols have beaten them 25 consecutive times. NEXT: vs. Kentucky, Saturday
65 BYU (6-5)
BUZZ: BYU has caught fire of late, winning four in a row -- and five of six -- to become bowl eligible. Next up is the "Holy War." NEXT: at Utah, Saturday
66. Washington (4-6)
BUZZ: The Huskies beat UCLA last Thursday in one of the ugliest games you'll see this season. That kept their bowl hopes alive, but they must win out. NEXT: at California, Saturday
67. UCLA (4-6)
BUZZ: The Bruins' passing attack has gone from "putrid" to "embarrassing"; they have thrown just five TD passes this season. Yet they still have a shot at bowl eligibility. NEXT: at Arizona State, Saturday
68. East Carolina (6-5)
BUZZ: It's hard to believe that this program actually played solid defense the past few seasons. This season's defense can best be defined as so ugly that even the most kind-hearted mom in the world would look away in abject horror. My goodness, the Pirates gave up 62 to Rice. NEXT: vs. SMU, Friday
69. SMU (6-5)
BUZZ: The Mustangs are bowl eligible and will win the C-USA West title if they beat East Carolina this week. But truth be told, they have not played all that well since early October. NEXT: at East Carolina, Friday
70. Colorado (5-6)
BUZZ: The Buffs suddenly have come alive under interim coach Brian Cabral, who is 2-0 as the head man. The offense has caught fire behind RB Rodney Stewart, and QB Cody Hawkins has tossed three TD passes in each game since his dad was fired. If the Buffs can upset the Huskers, they'll be bowl eligible. NEXT: at Nebraska, Friday.
71. Louisville (5-6)
BUZZ: The Cardinals need to beat Rutgers to become bowl eligible, which would make coach Charlie Strong's first season a rousing success. NEXT: at Rutgers, Friday
72. Cincinnati (4-6)
BUZZ: The Bearcats' offense had a huge game in a dismantling of Rutgers this past Saturday. Will there be any carryover for this week's games? NEXT: at Connecticut, Saturday
73. Army (6-5)
BUZZ: The Black Knights' offense struggled vs. Notre Dame. Now, they get two weeks off to make any necessary tweaks before they meet their archrival. NEXT: vs. Navy in Philadelphia, Dec. 11
74. Toledo (7-4)
BUZZ: The Rockets already have clinched second place in the MAC West. They have won four of their past five and are looking good for a bowl. NEXT: vs. Central Michigan, Friday
75. Miami of Ohio (7-4)
BUZZ: The RedHawks can win the MAC East if they beat Temple and Ohio U. loses to Kent State. The latter happening is an extreme long shot, but, hey, at least there's hope -- as long as Miami does its part Tuesday. NEXT: vs. Temple, Tuesday
76. Houston (5-6)
BUZZ: The Cougars have to beat Texas Tech to become bowl eligible. A loss would be a sadly appropriate ending to what has been a hugely disappointing season because of QB Case Keenum's injury. NEXT: at Texas Tech, Saturday
77. Ole Miss (4-7)
BUZZ: The Rebels are the only team in the SEC West that isn't going bowling, but they can salvage at least some of the season if they can upset their archrival. NEXT: vs. Mississippi State, Saturday
78. Fresno State (6-4)
BUZZ: In their games against the top three teams in the WAC (Boise, Hawaii and Nevada), the Bulldogs were outscored 135-61. Not surprisingly, they lost all three.. NEXT: vs. Idaho, Saturday
79. Purdue (4-7)
BUZZ: The Boilermakers made Michigan State sweat before they faltered late. Now, the Boilermakers have their sights set on winning the Old Oaken Bucket. NEXT: vs. Indiana, Saturday
80. Rutgers (4-6)
BUZZ: The Scarlet Knights still have a shot at bowl eligibility, but they must win out,. And truth be told, they're more likely to lose both than win both. NEXT: vs. Louisville, Friday
81. UTEP (6-6)
BUZZ: The Miners stumbled down the stretch, losing five of their final six regular-season games. They are bowl eligible, though their postseason chances would be enhanced greatly were Houston to lose its finale. NEXT: Bowl TBA
82. Florida International (5-5)
BUZZ: FIU needs one more win to clinch the Sun Belt title. One more win also would give the Panthers the first bowl bid in school history. NEXT: vs. Arkansas State, Saturday
83. Louisiana Tech (4-6)
BUZZ: The Bulldogs don't have any bad losses, as every team that beat them is bowl-bound. The flipside is that they have beaten no one of note. NEXT: at San Jose State, Saturday
84. Tulane (4-7)
BUZZ: The offense has made strides this season; unfortunately, the defense hasn't been able to keep up. Revamping that defense has to be the key in the offseason. NEXT: at Marshall, Saturday
85. Virginia (4-7)
BUZZ: The Cavaliers have lost three in a row, and seem destined to go into the offseason riding a four-game losing streak. NEXT: at Virginia Tech, Saturday
86. Marshall (4-7)
BUZZ: The Herd have won three of their past four, and ghave a chance to really take some momentum into the offseason if they can get past the Green Wave on Saturday. NEXT: vs. Tulane, Saturday
87. UAB (4-7)
BUZZ: The Blazers are 30th in total offense but just 67th in scoring offense. They turn the ball over way too often (24 times). NEXT: at Rice, Saturday
88. Troy (5-5)
BUZZ: The defense has come apart at the seams, having surrendered 121 points in the past two games. The Trojans gave up 56 in the first half to South Carolina this past Saturday. Still, one more win gives them bowl eligibility. NEXT: vs. Western Kentucky, Saturday
89. Idaho (5-6)
BUZZ: The Vandals play 13 regular-season games, and their hopes for bowl eligibility hinge on winning on the road this weekend. NEXT: at Fresno State, Saturday
90. Indiana (4-7)
BUZZ: The Hoosiers can go into the offseason with at least a slight smile if they can beat their archrival this weekend. NEXT: at Purdue, Saturday
91. Louisiana-Monroe (5-6)
BUZZ: A victory over their archrival Saturday makes the Warhawks bowl eligible. And if they're bowl eligible, chances are darned good they'll get to a bowl. NEXT: vs. Louisiana-Lafayette, Saturday
92. Arkansas State (4-7)
BUZZ: Defense has been the Red Wolves' problem this season. They have been horrendous against the run and are 110th nationally in total defense. NEXT: at Florida International, Saturday
93. Duke (3-8)
BUZZ: K Will Snyderwine has been a bright spot for the Blue Devils, making 20 of his 23 field-goal attempts. NEXT: vs. North Carolina, Saturday
94. Washington State (2-9)
BUZZ: The Cougars won Nov. 13 over Oregon State. They had this past weekend off. They also are off this weekend before they finally end the season on Dec. 4. Is it us, or is that bad scheduling? NEXT: vs. Washington, Dec. 4
95. Kansas (3-8)
BUZZ: The Jayhawks are 104th in total offense and 103rd in total defense. That should give you a pretty good idea of why they're 3-8. NEXT: vs. Missouri in Kansas City, Mo., Saturday
96. Western Michigan (5-6)
BUZZ: If Western can beat two-win Bowling Green on Friday, the Broncos become bowl eligible. Western has played solid football in the second half of the season. NEXT: at Bowling Green, Friday
97. Florida Atlantic (4-6)
BUZZ: The Owls have won three of their past four, and if they win out, they'll be bowl eligible. But the big news on campus this week is that former FAU star QB Rusty Smith will start for the Tennessee Titans this week. NEXT: at Middle Tennessee, Saturday
98. Minnesota (2-9)
BUZZ: The Golden Gophers had a week off to bask in the glow of their win over Illinois. This week, they get what should be a dispirited Iowa team. NEXT: vs. Iowa, Saturday
99. Utah State (4-7)
BUZZ: The Aggies got whipped by Idaho this past Saturday. Now they get a week off to contemplate what the WAC's other Idaho-based team is going to do to them. NEXT: at Boise State, Dec. 4
100. Rice (3-8)
BUZZ: A week after the Owls scored 49 in a loss to Tulane, they hunt 62 on East Carolina and pulled a big upset. Expect another scorefest Saturday. NEXT: vs. UAB, Saturday
101. Kent State (4-7)
BUZZ: Sunday, Golden Flashes coach Doug Martin announced he would step down at the end of the season. They've lost three in a row going into Friday's game. NEXT: vs. Ohio U., Friday
102. Ball State (4-8)
BUZZ: The Cardinals won just twice last season, so doubling their win total is a solid achievement. NEXT: Season over
103. Central Michigan (3-8)
BUZZ: The Chippewas have had trouble making the needed plays to win close games this season. But QB Ryan Radcliff has had his moments in his first season as the replacement for star QB Dan LeFevour. NEXT: at Toledo, Friday
104. Wyoming (3-9)
BUZZ: A win in the New Mexico Bowl last season meant high hopes going into this season. But the offense was a disaster for most of the season and must improve. NEXT: Season over
105. Middle Tennessee (4-6)
BUZZ: MTSU was the preseason favorite to win the Sun Belt, but unless they win out, they won't even be bowl eligible. NEXT: vs. Florida Atlantic, Saturday
106. North Texas (3-8)
BUZZ: RB Lance Dunbar has put together his second consecutive 1,000-yard season; he is 10th in the nation in rushing at 116.6 yards per game. NEXT: vs. Kansas State, Saturday
107. Colorado State (3-9)
BUZZ: The Rams again had to go through a tough season. But true freshman QB Pete Thomas played well enough to provide hope for the future. NEXT: Season over
108. Vanderbilt (2-9)
BUZZ: Vandy has lost six in a row, losing each by at least 14 points. They have scored just three rushing TDs and four passing TDs in the six-game losing streak. NEXT: vs. Wake Forest, Saturday
109. UNLV (2-9)
BUZZ: The Rebels have just nine rushing TDs this season, but four have come in their past two games. They also have surrendered 15 of their 33 rushing TDs in the past four games. NEXT: at San Diego State, Saturday
110. Wake Forest (2-9)
BUZZ: Wake started 2-0, then fall apart. The defense has been a sieve and the pass offense is awful. NEXT: at Vanderbilt, Saturday
111. Bowling Green (2-9)
BUZZ: The Falcons have the worst rushing offense in the nation; they also have the No. 113-ranked rushing defense. In other words, they can't run or stop the run. That's not a good combination. NEXT: vs. Western Michigan, Friday
112. Western Kentucky (2-9)
BUZZ: The Hilltoppers have played three consecutive one-point games; they have lost two of them, including this past Saturday's setback against Middle Tennessee. NEXT: at Troy, Saturday
113. Eastern Michigan (2-9)
BUZZ: The Eagles beat Buffalo last week, but they should get a hard nudge back to reality when they face NIU -- the MAC's best team -- on Friday. NEXT: vs. Northern Illinois, Friday
114. New Mexico State (2-9)
BUZZ: The top three teams in the WAC are Boise, Nevada and Hawaii. The Aggies have played two of them, losing by a combined 111-6 to Boise and Nevada. Their regular-season finale is against Hawaii. NEXT: vs. Hawaii, Saturday
115. Louisiana-Lafayette (2-9)
BUZZ: Saturday's game against ULM looks as if it will be the final game for coach Rickey Bustle. NEXT: at Louisiana-Monroe, Saturday
116. Buffalo (2-9)
BUZZ: The Bulls have lost six in a row, including a four-point loss last week to what had been a one-win Eastern Michigan team. NEXT: at Akron, Saturday
117. New Mexico (1-10)
BUZZ: The Lobos have allowed at least 40 points six times and have surrendered at least 30 10 times. They are last in the nation in rush defense and 119th in total defense. And TCU is the last game of the season. Yikes. NEXT: vs. TCU, Saturday
118. Memphis (1-10)
BUZZ: Whew, the Tigers are bad. They have lost eight in a row, and this is their third 10-loss season in the past five. NEXT: vs. UCF, Saturday
119. San Jose State (1-10)
BUZZ: The Spartans' lone win was a five-point affair over a FCS school; there also was a one-point loss to a FCS school. NEXT: vs. Louisiana Tech, Saturday
120. Akron (0-11)
BUZZ: After losing seven games in a row by double-digits, the Zips have showed some signs of life of late. They lost in double-overtime two weeks ago, then took a solid Miami of Ohio team to the wire last week. NEXT: vs. Buffalo, Saturday
