The Arkansas Razorbacks added another offensive lineman in their 2025 class on Friday as three-star Connor Howes announced his commitment to Arkansas.

Howes made his decision public after taking an official visit to Fayetteville the weekend of May 31. He chose the Razorbacks over Rutgers, where he took an official visit the weekend of June 7.

He had official visits scheduled to NC State and Ole Miss, but canceled those before making his commitment to Arkansas public.

The St. Cloud, Florida, native made it no secret that he had a heavy interest in the Razorbacks on social media and openly expressed his desire to play with now-fellow offensive line commit Kash Courtney.

With Howes' commitment, Arkansas now sits at 10 total in the class of 2025, which includes three big men up front on the offensive line, all three-star recruits — Howes, Kash Courtney and Blake Cherry.

The state of Florida hasn't produced many Arkansas athletes in recent years, as Howes is only the third from the Sunshine State to commit to Arkansas in the Sam Pittman era, but offensive linemen from the Florida high school ranks are an even smaller subgroup.

Assuming he signs with Arkansas, Howes will be the first offensive lineman from the state of Florida to join the Razorback program out of high school since Jalen Merrick in the class of 2015, and just the fifth since 2002, when Rivals began ranking recruits.

Stay tuned to HawgBeat for the latest in Arkansas Razorbacks football recruiting as the coaching staff works to fill out the 2025 class.
