Arkansas Offers Full Ride to Transfer Kicker/Punter Jordan Stout

The Razorbacks are looking for some elite kicking power to help them get better field position in 2019 and beyond, offering Virginia Tech transfer kicker/punter Jordan Stout on Thursday morning.

Stout will be immediately eligible at the school of his choice thanks to a new NCAA rule that allows players who go from walk-on status to scholarship, which Stout would, to be immediately eligible. He'll have three years to play three.

The Razorbacks only have one specialist on the roster on scholarship, Connor Limpert, but offered the Virginia Tech kicker a full ride as well. Stout redshirted his freshman year and then became the 4th best kickoff specialist in FBS with 60 of 71 kickoffs going for touchbacks in 2018.

Stout received an offer from Penn State on April 30th, so both the Nittany Lions and the Hogs lead for the transfer's talents. Despite mostly kicking off in 2018, Stout also knocked through field goals from 36 and 42 yards during the Hokies spring game.

Arkansas's opponents' starting field position was around the Hogs' 35 yard line in 2018.

Stout is a Virginia native and plans to visit the Hill before making a decision.
