Pregame Notes (Game 2)

Arkansas has announced left-hander Patrick Wicklander will start Friday's nightcap. There were only a couple of minor changes to the Razorbacks' lineup, with Jacob Nesbit starting at third base - replacing Cullen Smith - and Casey Opitz moving up to the 7-hole. That bumps Nesbit down to the 8-hole.

The Gamecocks are pretty much using their same lineup, but Michael Robinson is starting at third base.

Full lineups below.

T-3rd: Arkansas 2, South Carolina 0

Arkansas started the third inning with three straight hits, with the third being an RBI single by Jalen Battles. With runners on the corners, Zack Gregory hit a slow grounder to second and reached on a fielder's choice, giving him an RBI.

B-3rd: Arkansas 2, South Carolina 1

The Gamecocks got one of those runs back in the home half of the third, as Patrick Wicklander hung a 1-2 pitch and Brady Allen crushed it for a two-out solo home run.

T-5th: Arkansas 4, South Carolina 1

Down to his final strike, Cayden Wallace got ahold of a pitch for a two-run home run with two outs in the inning.

T-7th: Arkansas 5, South Carolina 1

Jalen Battles drew a one-out walk, moved to second on a wild pitch, advanced to third on Zack Gregory's ground out and then scored when Matt Goodheart reached on an error by the shortstop.

FINAL - Arkansas 5, South Carolina 1

Pregame Notes (Game 1)

Dave Van Horn is using almost the exact same lineup as Thursday night, but is starting Cullen Smith at third base instead of Jacob Nesbit. South Carolina doesn't have any changes to its lineup.

Both lineups are listed below.

T-2nd: Arkansas 1, South Carolina 0

After not playing Thursday night, Cullen Smith hit a solo home run down the right field line in his first at bat of the day.

T-5th: Arkansas 2, South Carolina 0

With the bases loaded and only one out, Brady Slavens flied out to right field and it was deep enough for a sacrifice fly.

B-6th: South Carolina 4, Arkansas 2

The Gamecocks break up the shutout with an RBI single by Andrew Eyster off reliever Zebulon Vermillion. Then they tied it up with a bases-loaded walk by Josiah Sightler.

In the next at bat, South Carolina took its first lead of the series on a sacrifice fly by Colin Burgess. George Callil followed with an RBI single to cap a four-run inning for the Gamecocks.

B-8th: South Carolina 6, Arkansas 2

Colin Burgess provided an insurance run with an RBI single and then Michael Robinson - in just his seventh at bat of the season - added an RBI single, as well.

FINAL - South Carolina 6, Arkansas 2
