The Razorbacks improved their stock with Aldine (Texas) Eisenhower safety Mister Alexander after his official visit to Arkansas last weekend, and he has one trip left to take this weekend.
Alexander checked in at 6-foot-2, 183 pounds barefoot at the Rivals.com Houston Junior Day last March. In addition to his trip to Fayetteville (Ark.), Alexander also visited Washington State on Jan. 13. He will visit Florida State this weekend and decide between the Seminoles and the Razorbacks.
"It was real good. I liked meeting the players and the coaches and seeing the facilities,
Alexander said. "I liked the weight room and the indoor field.
"I liked a lot of stuff. I can't even say it all."
Alexander has scholarship offers from Washington State, Arkansas and others, but longtime favorite Florida State has not yet offered. However, Alexander said the Razorbacks have drawn even with the 'Noles.
"I'm not sure. I'm going to have to think about it," he said. "They're about even with Florida State."
Alexander's cousin is rising junior cornerback Matterral Richardson. Richardson was Alexander's host on the trip. Sunday, he had a chance to meet with Arkansas head coach Houston Nutt.
"We just went out with all the other players," Alexander said. "[Nutt] said he's got to have me."
Rivals.com regards Alexander as a three-star prospect and the nation's No. 38 safety prospect. He ranked No. 43 in the Rivals.com preseason Texas Top 100. Expect Alexander to make a decision soon after his visit to Tallahassee (Fla.).
