First Half:

Arkansas wins the tip and we are underway!

The first points of the game comes from South Carolina's Murray-Boyles on a driving layup right past Trevon Brazile. Another late shot-clock shot attempt misses for the Hogs, and Meechie Johnson hits a three point jumper to make it 5-0.

Brazile scores the first points of the game for the Hogs on a layup. Chandler Lawson follows suit with a bucket on a pick n roll pass from Devo Davis.

Count the bucket plus the foul for Murray-Boyles under the rim, who makes his free throw to convert the and-one.

Lawson fights for an offensive rebound off his own miss and gets fouled in the process. His effort is wasted, though, as Jalen Graham travels after being subbed in. On the other end, Graham fouls Zachary Davis under the rim, Davis makes both free throws.

Devo Davis hits a vintage midrange jumper for his first points of the game. Jeremiah Davenport can't hit the three pointer, but South Carolina's Jacobi Wright converts from deep to extend the Gamecocks' lead.

Graham hits a hookshot jumper out of the break and Arkansas forces a turnover on the other end, but Mark misses a floater on offense. South Carolina's Josh Gray backs Brazile down and converts under the hoop.

Davenport answers with a floater along the baseline. Gray hits another bucket to maintain the lead.

Out of the timeout, Jalen Graham makes one free throw. Arkansas retains the ball for the wrap-around foul and Davis scores on a turnaround jumper. On the other end, B.J. Mack draws a foul and makes one free throw.

Arkansas' offense can't things going, and Mack nails a three pointer on the other end. Davenport finally gets one to fall from deep for the Hogs.

A few possessions later, Mack hits another three pointer to make it an eight-point lead for the Gamecocks. Khalif Battle scores his first points of the game on a second-chance jumper.

Three 3-point attempts, three 3-point makes for Mack. He's making the Hogs pay right now.

Out of the break, El Ellis misses a contested jumper and Murray-Boyles dunks one home on the other end.

Keyon Menifield Jr. subs in and makes his first bucket of the game. The Hogs give up a wide-open inbounds bucket and then Devo Davis commits a shooting foul on Morris Ugusuk. He makes one free throw.

Following a Menifield airball three point attempt, Jalen Graham commits a shooting foul on Stephen Clark. He makes one free throw. Tramon Mark finally gets one to fall on a driving layup, but Ellis fouls Meechie Johnson on the other end.

Meechie Johnson makes two free throws out of the timeout. A few possessions later, Davenport draws a foul and makes both free throws.

Ta'lon Cooper hits a contested layup over Makhi Mitchell, but Mitchell answers with an up-and-under bucket on the other end. Brazile holds B.J. Mack on his way to the rim, and Mack converts two free throws.

An offensive turnover off a moving screen by Mitchell and a block by Brazile closes out the half.

HALF: South Carolina 39, Arkansas 27

Second Half:

The first points of the second half are scored by Zachary Davis on an out-hustle second-chance layup. Chandler Lawson answers right back with an easy bucket under the rim.

We have a timeout following a personal foul by Tramon Mark.

B.J. Mack continues to play well, as he backs Brazile down for an easy layup. El Ellis answers back with a driving layup on a fastbreak.

Ellis hits another layup on a second-chance opportunity, but Josh Gray answers back with a layup on the other end.

Out of the timeout, Devo Davis draws a foul after forcing a turnover. He makes both free throws.

The Hogs gamble for the steal and give up a layup by Zachary Davis as a result. Brazile goes downhill and gets fouled in the process, but only makes one free throw.

El Ellis gets beat off the ball and Zachary Davis dunks it home as a result. On the other end, Devo Davis reaches in for the foul.

A couple possessions later, Tramon Mark hits a deep two with his foot on the line to stop the bleeding. Make that back-to-back buckets for Mark, who nails a three point basket.

WIth the Arkansas crowd getting into it, Ta'lon Cooper makes a contested three to kill the Hogs' momentum. The Gamecocks force a bad shot by the Hogs and then Jacobi Wright makes a physical layup to make it a 12-point game.

Davenport makes one free throw out of the break. Meechie Johnson hits a three point jumper off an assist from Cooper. Brazile misses another jumper and Mack grabs the rebound.

Make it a 17-point game after a Ta'lon Cooper three.

TIMEOUT: South Carolina 60, Arkansas 43, 10:29 in 2H

The timeout doesn't help anything, as Arkansas misses a shot and gives up a layup on the other end. Mark airballs a three but the Gamecocks can't take advantage.

Mark finally gets one to drop for the Hogs, as he nails a layup on a fastbreak. Davenport is called for a shooting foul on a layup attempt. Collin-Boyles makes both free throws.

El Ellis finds Makhi Mitchell rolling to the rim for an easy dunk. The Gamecocks fail to score and foul Mark on the other end.

TIMEOUT: South Carolina 64, Arkansas 47, 7:25 in 2H

Mark makes both free throws out of the break. Mack rips the nets again with a made jumper after working himself into the paint. El Ellis draws a foul and makes both free throws.

The Gamecocks break the press and find Ta'lon Cooper for a three point basket. Ellis is hot, though, and he knocks down a three of his own. Devo Davis makes it a 13-point game on a transition bucket.

Mark forces a turnover 90 feet away from the basket, but the Hogs can't take advantage with a missed turnaround jumper by Devo Davis. South Carolina is now in the bonus after Ellis fouls Johnson. He misses the free throw.

Ellis can't convert the layup and Murray-Boyles dunks one home on a wide-open defensive breakdown.

Tramon Mark hits a second-chance driving layup out of the timeout, but the Hogs fail to stop Zachary Davis in the paint with a layup of his own.

Mark is starting to take over, as he makes a turnaround jumper in the paint. He's got 16 points in the game.

B.J. Mack is unguardable and makes a pullup jumper in the paint over Chandler Lawson. Mark draws a foul and makes both free throws.

With time dwindling, both teams trade buckets. This game is over.
