Out of the timeout, Khalif Battle ends a 9-0 North Carolina run. North Carolina hits two free throws on the other end to take a 15-6 lead. Battle goes down the other end and finishes at the rim. North Carolina scores at the rim on the other end after a turnover from each team.

Tramon Mark hits an open catch-and-shoot three to cut the Tarheel lead to six, 17-11. Tarheels come back down the court and score off an offensive rebound.

North Carolina draws a foul and scores with the foul. Jalen Washington converts at the free throw line for a three-point play. Layden Blocker missed a layup at the rim. North Carolina hits another free throw to go up 23-11. Khalif Battle rebound.

Tramon Mark hits a contested midrange jumper. Freshman Baye Fall entered the game and immediately blocks a shot at the rim. A solid defensive possession with a blockout from Fall and rebound from Mark ends with a transition basket from Mark. Offensive foul on North Carolina.

Battle missed a shot, but Blocker keeps the possession alive. Battle hoists again and misses, but North Carolina is called for a loose-ball foul on the rebound. Refs stopped play to look at a potential hook and hold on North Carolina.

Corner shot from Jeremiah Davenport ruled a two and Arkansas cuts it within six, down 23-17. At the other end, North Carolina guard RJ Davis hit both free throws on a one-and-one opportunity. Davenport hits a pullup jumper from the elbow.

RJ Davis hits both free throws coming out of the timeout. Davenport called for a moving screen on the offensive end. Contested shot from Makhi Mitchell leads to a miss and Battle rebound. Mark hits a three in transition, but North Carolina comes right back to score in the paint to get the lead back to seven, up 29-22.

Mitchell misses a post hook but Davenport flies in for the offensive rebound, drawing a foul on North Carolina. Back to back fouls on North Carolina put Tramon Mark at the line. Mark converted one of two.

North Carolina turned it over out of bounds on its next offensive possession. El Ellis missed a three and North Carolina secured the rebound. Shooting foul on Makhi Mitchell at the rim, Washington hits both free throws to go up 31-23.

Davenport misses a corner jumper, but Arkansas got a stop defensively. Mark scored at the rim in transition. On the other end of the floor Mark picks up a foul, sending North Carolina to the free throw line.

Cadeau went 0-2 from the free throw line, and the next possession for Arkansas Mark hit a pullup jumper at the free throw line to cut the deficit to four. Foul on Trevon Brazile.

North Carolina missed both free throws. On the other end, Battle draws a foul and hits both free throws to cut the lead to just two.

An illegal screen turnover gives the ball back to Arkansas and then Mark comes back down and scores to tie the game up. Foul on Battle on the other end. Harrison Ingram made one of two from the line, and Brazile hauled in the defensive board.

A few missed shots by both teams the next few possessions until a North Carolina turnover. Layden Blocker gets fouled on a layup and goes to the free throw line, where he makes both. North Carolina steps out of bounds on a baseline drive.

Ingram fouls Davenport on the perimeter, and he makes both free throws to give Arkansas the 35-32 lead. Tarheels back down the floor to make a tough three to tie the game back up.

North Carolina fouls another Arkansas shooter, this time Mark. He converts one of two at the line.

Out of the timeout, Blocker gets a steal and fastbreak dunk to take a 38-35 lead.

HALFTIME: Arkansas 38, UNC 35

Out of the half, North Carolina's Withers makes a second-chance layup. Tramon Mark takes the ball into the middle of the court and draws a foul. Mark misses his first shot of the game on a three point attempt.

The Tar Heels take the ball right down the court and score under the rim, and the Hogs respond with a turnover. Following a Trevon Brazile swat into the stands, Makhi Mitchell makes a layup while being fouled. He makes the free throw.

UNC's Armando Bacot gets blocked under the rim, and Brazile misses a hook shot. Chandler Lawson is then called for a foul. Mark fouls UNC's Harrison Ingram on a shot. He makes both free throws.

After a Brazile miss, Bacot makes a putback to take the lead on the Hogs. Tramon Mark takes and makes a deep three to regain the lead.

TIMEOUT: Arkansas 44, North Carolina 43, 15:42 in 2H

Following the timeout, Khalif Battle is called for a foul. UNC's RJ Davis then drains a three to take the lead. Battle is blocked by Bacot, but UNC can't take advantage. Instead, Bacot picks up his third foul of the game.

Tramon Mark hits another midrange — his tenth of the game and a career high. After a UNC bucket, Mark continues to put the team on his back with a contested jumper. RJ Davis drives in for the and-one make and free throw.

After a miss from Makhi Mitchell, UNC's Trimble is fouled on a shot by Brazile. He makes one free throw. Following a miss from Tramon Mark, Makhi Mitchell is called for a foul on the rebound.

Bacot makes both free throws. Both teams miss some shots, but Chandler Lawson ends the drought with a nice move to the post and hook shot. A nice pass from Harrison Ingram results in a wide open corner three for UNC.

Arkansas' struggles in transition defense continues as RJ Davis makes an easy layup down the court.

Out of the timeout, Layden Blocker gets a hustle putback after Brazile misses a jumper. RJ Davis gets Brazile jumping in the air after a pump fake then drives in and hits a jumper.

Brazile is fouled by UNC's Cadeau, and we have a timeout.

Following the timeout and review, Brazile is called for a flagrant one foul and Davis makes both free throws. Harrison Ingram then makes a hook shot under the rim.

Tramon Mark answers with an and-one three point make. He misses the free throw. Arkansas forces a turnover, but Davenport can't take advantage as he misses a three. After another UNC miss, Layden Blocker drives into the lane and finishes.

RJ Davis takes and makes a contested three, and Arkansas answers with a Tramon Mark runner in the lane.

Out of the timeout, Tramon Mark draws a foul on a layup attempt under the rim. He makes both from the charity stripe. Harrison Ingram backs down Jeremiah Davenport and makes a hook shot while being fouled. He misses the and-one free throw.

Makhi Mitchell misses a layup, and UNC makes him pay with a RJ Davis and-one floater. He makes the free throw. Layden Blocker is fouled and makes both free throws. UNC answers right back with a layup.

After some misses by both teams, Khalif Battle makes a tough layup and gets fouled in the process. He makes the free throw. Another corner three from UNC is drained, this time by Seth Trimble.

Seth Trimble is fouled by Arkansas, and he makes one free throw. Tramon Mark misses a three pointer, and RJ Davis is fouled on a drive to the rim. He makes both free throws.

Devo Davis turns the ball over, and Arkansas is losing time to make a comeback in this one. UNC drains a three, and Tramon Mark is hurt after making a wild pass on the baseline.
