First Half:

UT Tyler won the tip and immediately turned it over. We are underway.

Guard El Ellis gets the scoring started with a nice layup off a fastbreak turnover. After some missed shots both ways, forward Chandler Lawson knocks down the game's first three of the game to give Arkansas a 5-2 lead.

Devo Davis has checked into the game for Joseph Pinion. Makhi Mitchell subs in for Baye Fall. El Ellis knocks down a midrange jumper. Some really nice defense from the Hogs lead to a shotclock violation. Hogs are up 7-2 with just under 17 minutes left in the first half.

El Ellis is white hot. He knocks down a three point shot and quickly has seven points. After some perimeter passes and a missed three, Makhi Mitchell gets an easy putback layup. Tramon Mark shows off his hops with a blocked shot. With 14:40 left, Arkansas is up 12-2.

Trevon Brazile has clocked into the game, as has Layden Blocker. Tramon Mark hits a contested layup. Some nice defense from Layden Blocker leads to a UT Tyler turnover. Jeremiah Davenport then comes in for Tramon Mark. Arkansas is up 14-4 with 12:14 left in the first half.

Devo Davis is good at basketball. The senior guard swishes a midrange jumper and then follows up with a nice defensive possession to cause a turnover. Razorbacks are up 16-4 with 11:22 to go.

Out of the break, Makhi Mitchell gets fouled and knocks in two free throws. Denijay Harris then subs in for Mitchell. Jeremiah Davenport hits a clean three and Devo Davis follows up with a layup off a steal. Davenport is hot and knocks down another three, this time from the top of the key. Trevon Brazile hits a contested layup falling down. With 7:19 to go, Arkansas leads 30-8.

Khalif Battle checks into the game for the first time out of the break. Layden Blocker is then fouled on a three point attempt and knocks in only one of the shots. Jeremiah Davenport hits ANOTHER three, this time from the corner. He's up to 11 points after two free throw makes. Following his outburst, he's subbed out for Tramon Mark. The Hogs are up 36-10 with just over five minutes to go.

Arkansas legend Cade Arbogast subs into the game for Joseph Pinion. Some fantastic defense from Khalif Battle leads to another shot clock violation. El Ellis is really good. He drives in and makes a physical layup. Nothing easy for UT Tyler. After some missed shots, they finally get a rebound and are fouled on a putback. The Hogs lead 40-10 with 3:09 to go in the first half.

A blocked shot leads to a transition layup for Khalif Battle off a Devo Davis assist. Khalif Battle then gets an easy steal which leads to some Tramon Mark free throws on the other end. He hits both. Baye Fall is rangy. The 6-foot-11 freshman blocks a high-arching layup. On the final possession of the first half, Devo Davis gets shifty and hits a layup to give the Hogs a 45-12 lead.

End of half: Arkansas 45, UT Tyler 12

Second Half:

Arkansas opens up with a lineup of Tramon Mark, Joseph Pinion, El Ellis, Baye Fall and Chandler Lawson. Joseph Pinion gets the scoring started at the 17:50 mark with a corner three pointer. After one UT Tyler free throw make, the Hogs score off a Tramon Mark corner three. He follows that up with a dunk in transition. Joseph Pinion caps off the Razorback run with another three to give the Hogs a 56-14 lead with 16:22 remaining.

Out of the break, Joseph Pinion knocks down anothe three, this time off the dribble. Makhi Mitchell grabs a rebound and scores a layup in the middle of three UT Tyler defenders. He follows that up with an and-one layup to give the Hogs a 64-19 lead with 14:38 remaining.

Trevon Brazile is good at basketball. He grabs a rebound under the rim and slams it home. Jeremiah Davenport makes it look easy, as he drives in from the corner and hits a contested layup to give the Hogs a 68-23 lead with 11:34 remaining.


Layden Blocker shows great effort. He grabs a high-flying rebound and another, but fails to convert under the rim. On the next possession, Denijay Harris gets an easy layup to hit the 70-point mark for the Razorbacks. Another corner three pointer for Arkansas, this time from Khalif Battle. With 7:55 left in the second half, Arkansas leads 73-25.

Out of the break, Devo Davis hits a free throw. On the next offensive possession, he glides down the court in transition and hits an easy layup. After a UT Tyler free throw, the Patriots foul Layden Blocker on the other end of the court. He knocks in both to give Arkansas a 78-30 lead with 5:46 remaining.

Khalif Battle knocks down a contested three pointer off the dribble. Following a UT Tyler layup, Denijay Harris gets one of his own under the rim. With 3:19 to go, Arkansas leads 85-36.

Out of the break, Khalif Battle gets fouled on a drive and hits two free throws. A few possessions later, Battle hits a stepback midrange jumper. After a good defensive possession, Battle gets fouled again and nails both free throws to give the Hogs a 91-36 lead with 1:37 remaining.

Lawson Blake, ladies and gentlemen. The walk on hits a single free throw for his first point of the game.

Final: Arkansas 92, UT Tyler 39
