Each week, HawgBeat.com provides a completely free update of everything going on in the recruiting world for the Arkansas Razorbacks.

This week, Rivals released its latest rankings update for the 2024 class, both for the Rivals250 and national position rankings, and several Arkansas recruits made the list.

One recruit who took a visit to Arkansas during its final Prospect Day of January saw his ranking skyrocket. Kamarion Franklin, a defensive lineman from Lake Cormorant, Mississippi, is ranked the No. 12 player in the country and No. 2 at his position.

Florida has been good for Arkansas' recruiting at the running back position, and the Hogs are hopeful another athlete in the Sunshine State can continue that momentum.

Terek McCant, the No. 19 athlete in the country and No. 40 player in the state of Florida in the 2024 class, released a top 10 that included the Hogs on Friday afternoon.

Playing both running back and wide receiver, McCant is ranked the No. 19 athlete in the country, the No. 40 player in Florida and the No. 228 player in the country, according to Rivals.

While the state of Arkansas doesn't produce as much Division I talent as other states, there are a few in the class of 2024 that are starting to make some noise. Two defensive ends from the Natural State landed in Rivals' top position ranking on Thursday.

Charleston Collins of Little Rock Mills and TJ Lindsey of Bryant are ranked the No. 25 and No. 27 at their positions, respectively. Lindsey received a ratings bump, going from a 5.7 three-star recruit to a 5.8 four-star.

Lindsey, a 6-foot-3, 265-pound lineman, has the eye of multiple big-time programs heading into the spring, including Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Texas, Oregon and others. He told Rivals that Arkansas, however, is closer than other schools.

"They have showed out a lot, but they're a lot closer than the other schools," he said. "Coach Pittman came and saw one of my best games. Coach Adams, everybody on that staff knows me. I can tell I'm a priority. They want me up there all the time."

After receiving an offer from the Hogs on Jan. 28, a wide receiver and defensive back out of Pine Bluff has caught the attention of fellow SEC schools LSU, Texas A&M and Auburn.

Courtney Crutchfield, who was recently ranked a 5.8 four-star recruit in the class of 2024, reported offers from the SEC teams on his Twitter account.

Crutchfield visited Arkansas on Jan. 21, during one of its Prospect Days, and left Fayetteville with an offer from Arkansas. He said following the visit the offer was something he really wanted.

"A couple of years ago I was wanting that offer real bad," Crutchfield said. "Now that my dream came true, it feels real good in the situation God put me in. And for this predicament to happen like this."

Arkansas has not spent much time recruiting on the west coast, but the coaching staff offered a defensive tackle from Fairfield, California, on Thursday.

Jericho Johnson, a 5.6 three-star recruit according to Rivals, has picked up several big-time offers, including Georgia, Michigan, USC and others.

The 6-foot-3, 320-pound pass rusher is ranked the No. 64 player in the state of California for the class of 2024.

Zion Kearney, a four-star wide receiver from Missouri City, Texas, released a top 6 that included the Razorbacks on Thursday. Oklahoma, Nebraska, LSU, Texas A&M and Houston all joined the Hogs on the list.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound pass catcher from Missouri City, Texas, is ranked the No. 16 player at his position, No. 20 in the state of Texas and the No. 128 player in the nation according to Rivals.

A linebacker out of Jonesboro has started to garner attention, earning a 5.8 four-star rating according to Rivals.

Brian Huff, who plays for Valley View High School, has reported nine offers so far in his recruitment, including the Hogs. LSU, Missouri, Notre Dame and others have also extended offers to the No. 3 player in the state of Arkansas.

Huff, who stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs 210 pounds, has taken multiple visits to Arkansas, with his last visit coming on Oct. 1, when Arkansas suffered a 49-26 loss to Alabama.
