Arkansas wrapped up its final six official visits on Sunday. The stories on Kyle Porter and Jonathan Marshall are posted, and here are the other key notes coming out of the weekend:

-- Marshall (Texas) safety and new Hog pledge Micahh Smith said Arkansas showed him everything he wanted in a school. He called his mother on Saturday and told her he’d committed, and said she was “elated” to hear the news. Smith was hosted by Arkansas defensive back Kevin Richardson, who told him being a Razorback is a special opportunity.

-- New Arkansas commit Dee Walker of Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County said Florida called him after he pledged to the Hogs on Saturday.

"Florida came in last night, but I am solid to Arkansas," Walker said. "They didn't offer me, but they talked to me. They were kind of upset I committed to Arkansas. No one will be able to sway me."

Walker said a couple of things stood out about his time in Fayetteville.

"I didn't know the Arkansas fan base was that crazy," Walker said with a wide smile. "I really liked the dorms, the dorms were real nice."

Walker was hosted by his friend and former teammate, T.J. Smith. He said they did what they would normally do back at home, just hang out and have a good time. The linebacker also spoke about his speed and coverage skills giving him an opportunity to play early.

Walker said his teammate, Kiel Pollard, texted him after seeing his announcement yesterday.

-- Arkansas commitment Paul Ramirez said he’s very comfortable with the decision he made on Saturday.

"I checked out the facilities and education-wise it was great," Ramirez said. "They’ve got great facilities and everything you could ever need. This program will help build me and help me get there. This is the SEC, the best league in the nation. It felt right to commit."

He said he wasn’t surprised that he wanted to jump on board during the visit.

"No not really," Ramirez said. "I was going to announce when I got home anyway. I have a really great relationship with Coach Anderson. He is a great guy. He understands his players and he knows how to have fun with it but at the same time he takes serious when he needs too."

Ramirez will find out his arrival date on May 25.
