This was the toughest Natural 21 to date. With so much talent in the class, it was hard to leave some players out. Several, in fact, received votes and did not make the list, and much consideration was given to others.
The list is comprised using results from two separate ballots from Otis Kirk and Trey Biddy. Prospects are graded on film study, past camp performances, and game and practice observation. Since the Houston Nutt Camp (June 11) was the most recent tool, it plays a big role in how things have shaken out with the second edition. Prospects like David Williams, Crosby Tuck, Wade Grayson, Nigel Byrd and Brett Moncrief all helped their stock.
Each prospect on the list has been evaluated live and in person, but the Natural 21 will continue to evolve as the 2006 season arrives. Each prospect on the list has been evaluated in at least two or all forms.
