Arkansas football is all about family and it's about to get even more literal with the addition of Hunter Yurachek's son, Jake. The rising redshirt freshman began his playing career at Colorado but, as Clay Henry of WholeHogSports first reported, he's headed to the Hill to play linebacker for the Razorbacks.

Jake is the middle son of Yurachek, his oldest, Ryan, played tight end at Marshall. The distance between Arkansas and Colorado made it tough for the athletic director to get to his son's games and it played a role in getting Jake to the Hill.

Another factor is Arkansas's lack of depth at linebacker. Coming to Chad Morris's squad as a walk-on means he'll be immediately able to play if he can crack the depth chart.

Yurachek was unrated by Rivals coming out of high school at Friendswood in Houston but held some offers from the service academies, Ivy Leagues and Abilene Christian. Morris and John Chavis had extended a preferred walk-on offer to him but he was already set on walking on to the Buffs.

He's 6-foot-2, 227 lbs. and saw action in a few games at Colorado, few enough to save his redshirt, but ultimately didn't feel he'd be getting many snaps in 2019.
