1. Just hangin' around

Arkansas' basketball team got back on the right side of the win-loss column with a 65-63 victory over Missouri on Saturday.

It wasn't pretty -- in fact, it looked like things were about to get very ugly with the Tigers up six with 4:43 remaining -- but it was an important win for the Razorbacks (12-5, 2-3).

A loss to Mizzou would have been the Hogs' fourth straight, and there's a good chance that losing streak would have crept to five games as the Hogs must travel to Florida this Wednesday.

Yet somehow the Razorbacks managed to finish on a 12-4 run, win the game, and keep fans hanging around for a little while longer.

"I thought our guys played with their guts," head coach Mike Anderson said. "I thought they played defense and didn't panic. That's what good teams do. We're a good basketball team. We had to get ourselves humbled a little bit. In the last three games we got humbled. One of the reasons why is teams were playing harder than we were. We weren't playing with that sense of urgency for 40 minutes.

"It shows that you can get a lead and lose a lead, but still yet, you've got to have that resolve. Last year's team was very similar to that. They could get down and didn't panic. Maybe that's a good sign for us. Sometimes you have some setbacks so you can have some good comebacks. Maybe this is something that can get us a little bit better.

"All sickness ain't death, so we'll see. We'll find out real, real quick."
