Steve Caldwell, John Scott and the Razorbacks have the 2019 defensive line class full to the brim, so they'll go light on the line in the 2020 class. So far, the Hogs have offered just seven defensive tackles with six still on the board, Jamil Burroughs committed to Georgia. Let's take a closer look at the remaining targets and the Hogs' chances to land:
The no. 1 defensive tackle in the nation and the no. 1 prospect out of Mississippi for 2020 is George County stud McKinnley Jackson. One of the strongest DI-bound juniors out there, Jackson has cut his list of 18 offers to a top 15, including Arkansas, but I don't see the Hogs staying in the mix for the next cut. He started receiving offers when he was in MIDDLE SCHOOL.

By far one of the Razorbacks' top priorities in the 2020 class, Briarcrest Christian defensive tackle/offensive tackle Omari Thomas, has a ton of SEC attention early in his recruitment but says the interest in Arkansas is very mutual. Thomas has really boosted his stock in his junior season, moving into the Rivals100, and is ranked as the fourth best player in the state of Tennessee, in a very talented 2020 class. Thomas has a whopping 28 offers already but is favoring SEC programs, particularly Arkansas, LSU, A&M, Ole Miss and Georgia. Thomas visited Arkansas this season and plans to be back but he wants to see improved product on the field in 2019. He cut Arkansas into his elite top 12 on Christmas Day.
