Arkansas picked up a major commitment Sunday evening when four-star defensive lineman Emmit Gooden became the Razorbacks' seventh verbal pledge for the 2018 class.

Gooden, 6-4, 300, wrapped up an official visit in Fayetteville Sunday morning and went public with his decision at approximately 6 p.m. The Brownsville (Tenn.) native who signed with Mississippi State out of high school chose the Razorbacks over Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, USC and many others.
