Aside from three-year starting quarterback KJ Jefferson, Arkansas has not particularly recruited the state of Mississippi very hard.
The Sardis native is one of just two Razorbacks from the state of Mississippi on the roster for the 2023 season, as the Hogs brought on linebacker Alex Sanford from Oxford in the most recent recruiting cycle.
