Riley McFerran - Managing Editor
Riley joined HawgBeat to report on the transfer portal in December 2022. He took over as managing editor of HawgBeat in August 2023 and he’s seen his following grow exponentially with his high-level coverage of the transfer portal and the big three athletic programs on campus. Riley has an associate degree in science.
Daniel Fair - Staff Writer, Basketball Beat Writer
Daniel has been with HawgBeat since July 2022. After beginning as a staff writer, he took over as the main football recruiting writer, a position he excelled at. Daniel brought the latest from all of Arkansas’ high school targets, and now he can be seen covering the men's basketball team on a daily basis. Daniel graduated from Wichita State with a degree in journalism, and he also has an associate degree in digital media production.
Jackson Collier - Basketball Contributor
Best known as “JC Hoops,” Jackson joined the website in July 2020. Jackson provides the best Arkansas basketball analysis you can find, and he also keeps subscribers in the know with the latest intel on all Arkansas sports. Jackson graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a double major in English and History. He then attended the William H. Bowen School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctorate and is currently studying to take the bar exam.
