Defense making strides in decreasing big plays

Arkansas' defense entered Saturday's scrimmage with a goal to decrease the big plays and mental busts they'd experienced a week prior.

For the most part, they achieved it.

“I feel like we made some good strides from last weekend," defensive back Kevin Richardson said. "Coach (Paul) Rhoads wanted to emphasize on not giving up as many big plays and mental busts. I feel like guys really focused on that and we had a big hand in that as a secondary. If we give up big plays, a part of that is on our part. Especially with us because we’re the last line of defense.
