National Signing Day is upon us, and soon, Arkansas commits will become official Razorbacks by signing their National Letter of Intent (NLI).

The Hogs currently have 20 commitments in their 2023 class, which ranks No.16 nationally in the Rivals database.

Of the 20 commitments, 19 are expected to sign early. The Hogs also have a trio of transfers expected to sign early — OL Josh Braun, WR Andrew Armstrong and QB Jacolby Criswell.

There are two times where commits will have the opportunity to sign their NLI. The Early Signing Period runs from Wednesday to Friday, and then National Signing Day is scheduled for Feb. 2, 2023.

HawgBeat will help you with keeping track of who signs with Arkansas and when. Here is a list of players expected to sign early:

Signed NLI

HawgBeat will add the names of players that sign their NLI as they roll in.

Brad Spence called the Hogs on July 12 of this year. The Klein, Texas, native called the Hogs over a slew of other schools, including Utah, Texas, Wisconsin, Kansas State and others.

It's believed Utah made a late push to flip Spence's commitment, but he remained firm to the Hogs and signed his NLI on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-1, 217-pound signal caller from Kennesaw, Georgia committed to Arkansas on April 25, and called the Hogs over in-state Georgia, UCF, Miami, Ole Miss and others. UCF made a big push for the four-star quarterback, trying to get him on campus for one last visit last weekend, but he stuck it out and is now a Razorback.

Young was one of the earlier commitments to the 2023 class. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound defensive back called the Hogs on Dec. 29, 2021. He chose Arkansas over fellow SEC programs Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Missouri.

The three-star athlete is ranked the No. 28 player in the state of Alabama and the No. 58 player at his position nationally.

Carson Dean joined the fold in March 2022, and signed as a three-star athlete out of Carrollton, Texas. He chose the Hogs over in-state schools Baylor, Texas, Houston, TCU and Texas Tech.

The 6-foot-4, 225-pound outside linebacker is ranked the No. 35 outside linebacker in the country.

Su'a joined the "hometown" Hogs in Sept. 2021, and chose the Hogs over Georgia, Maryland, Michigan State and Oregon. "Hometown" is in quotes because while Su'a played his senior year of high school in Bentonville, he grew up in the Inland Empire in California, near San Bernardino.

The 6-foot-5, 319-pound guard will be joining the Hogs in January.

TJ Metcalf just recently earned his fourth star from Rivals, and committed to Arkansas on July 1. The Pinson Valley, Alabama, native is ranked a 5.8 four-star defensive back. He held offers from Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Kentucky, USC and others.

Luke Brown is another one of Arkansas' four-stars in the 2023 class out of Paris, Tennessee. The 6-foot-6, 300-pound tackle pledged his commitment to the Hogs on April 19, and held offers from Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Illinois, Ole Miss and others.

Luke Hasz was one of the more coveted recruits in the 2023 cycle. He was originally committed to Oklahoma, but flipped his commitment on Jan. 22, 2022. In the days leading up to the early signing period, he hosted Alabama head coach Nick Saban in his home, and Oklahoma also made a strong push.

All told, though, Hasz is a Hog.

Joining his brother on the Hill is Dylan Hasz. The 5.4 two-star recruit called the Hogs on July 1, and held offers from Air Force, North Texas, Northern Arizona and others.

The 6-foot, 175-pound athlete primarily played in the secondary in high school, and it is believed he will stay there when he gets on the Hill.

Kaleb James was another early commitment, calling the Hogs on Jan. 18. The 5.7 three-star defensive end from Mansfield, Texas, held offers from Cincinnati, Baylor, Arizona State and Boston College in addition to Arkansas.

Augustave is the lone running back in the 2023 class. The Naples, Florida, native held offers from Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisville, Oklahoma State and others.

Ranked a 5.7 three-star recruit by Rivals, the 6-foot-1, 190-pound running back was ranked No. 86 in the state of Florida and the No. 26 running back in the nation.

One of Arkansas' highest-rate commits has signed with the Hogs. Jaylon Braxton is a 5.8 four-star cornerback from Frisco, Texas, and chose Arkansas over UCLA, Baylor, LSU, Oklahoma State and others.

A relatively new addition to Arkansas' four-star club, Davion Dozier signed with the Hogs on Wednesday. The 6-foot-4, 185-pound pass catcher held offers from Tennessee, South Carolina, Maryland, Duke and others.

Dozier is ranked the No. 43 best wide receiver in the nation and the No. 22 player in the state of Alabama. He most recently competed in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Bowl game.

Sanford called the Hogs from Oxford, Mississippi, on June 26. He chose Arkansas over Auburn, hometown Ole Miss, Tennessee and others. The 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker was recruited by linebackers coach Michael Scherer.

Most recently, Sanford participated in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game with fellow Arkansas signees Davion Dozier and TJ Metcalf.

Christian Ford committed to Arkansa on June 19, 2022. He was injured for most of the season, but held offers from Arizona, Colorado, TCU, Minnesota and others. He played his senior season for Arkansas alumni Marcus Shavers at McKinney High School in Texas.

Arkansas defensive backs coach Dominique Bowman was Ford's primary recruiter.

The in-state recruit is staying home. Quincy Rhodes Jr. signed with Arkansas on Wednesday after a late push by the Oklahoma Sooners. The 5.7, three-star defensive end was recruited to Arkansas by former tight ends coach Dowell Loggains, whose departure gave Oklahoma a chance to try to swoop in at the eleventh hour, but was unsuccessful.

At 6-foot-6, 245 pounds, Rhodes is ranked the No. 3 player in the state of Arkansas and the No. 56 player at his position nationally.

Though his Rivals profile shows he is an offensive lineman, Geffrard was recruited to Arkansas to play on the defensive line. The 6-foot-6, 355-pound recruit chose Arkansas on June 20 over Auburn, Mississippi State, Texas, North Carolina and others.

Johnson announced his commitment to Arkansas on June 25 of this year over LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Indiana and others. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound cornerback was rated a 5.7 three-star and ranked the No. 50 player in the state of Georgia and No. 57 player at his position nationally.

Armstrong was among the three transfer recruits that committed to Arkansas following the end of the season. After entering the portal out of Texas A&M-Commerce, Armstrong reported 17 offers in one day.

The 6-foot-6, 189-pound pass catcher committed to Arkansas following a visit during the second weekend of December. He had planned to visit Missouri as well, but he cut that short.

Last season, Armstrong was named an FCS sophomore All-American for his performance during the 2022 season. He recorded 1,020 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns on 62 receptions for the year.

Criswell announced he was transferring to Arkansas 10 days ago following a visit to Fayetteville. A native of Morrilton, Criswell was Rivals' No. 2 player in the state of Arkansas coming out of the 2019 class.

The 6-foot-1, 225-pound signal caller originally chose the Tar Heels over Arkansas during his recruiting process after Mack Brown made Criswell more of a priority than former Head Hog Chad Morris.

Criswell was unable to break through to become the starter at North Carolina, sitting behind fifth-round draft pick Sam Howell and legacy quarterback Drake Maye at UNC. He is the brother of former Razorback and current San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw.

The last high school recruit to sign in the 2023 class is officially on board, as offensive lineman Paris Patterson signed his letter of intent on Wednesday. The 5.8 four-star recruit called the Hogs on July 4 over Tennessee, LSU, Missouri and others.

The 6-foot-5, 330-pound guard is ranked No. 6 in the state of Illinois and No. 16 at his position nationally. He was recruited by offensive line coach Cody Kennedy and told HawgBeat he intends to enroll next month.

Joshua Braun is the third transfer to sign with Arkansas on Wednesday. He took a visit to Arkansas during the first weekend of December and went public with his commitment on Dec. 5.

The 6-foot-6, 351-pound guard was committed to Arkansa head coach Sam Pittman when he was at Georgia, but flipped to Florida when Pittman took the head job at Arkansas. Braun is rated a 5.8 four-star transfer prospect, according to rivals.

John Morgan III has called the Hogs on National Signing Day. Morgan had made a visit to Fayetteville following a trip to Missouri last weekend, and had initially said he would be planning on making his decision after a few more visits and after the National Championship game, but made his announcement today.

The Upper Marlboro, Maryland, product will have one year of eligibility remaining after spending five seasons with Pittsburgh. Morgan tallied totals of 14 sacks and 23 tackles for loss in his time with the Panthers. He also forced three fumbles and deflected two passes.

Players who won't sign early:

There is only one recruit in the 2023 class who intends to sign in February, and that is four-star tight end Shamar Easter. Easter has been committed to Arkansas since Aug. 13, 2021, but with the departure of Dowell Loggains to South Carolina, he decided to hold off on signing his NLI.

The 6-foot-5, 214-pound pass catcher took a visit to South Carolina over the weekend, but remains committed to the Hogs.

Since Sunday, Arkansas has already lost three commitments in the 2023 class, with three-star defensive tackle Stephen Johnson flipping to Auburn, three-star tight end Jaden Hamm flipping to Kansas, and four-star athlete Micah Tease decommitting from the Razorbacks.
