FAYETTEVILLE -- With another series victory under its belt and a little help from its neighbor to the west, Arkansas has moved up a spot in the rankings.
The Razorbacks check in at No. 4 in this week's HawgBeat Composite Poll, which combines the major college baseball rankings, largely thanks to Oklahoma State pulling off a road sweep at previously fourth-ranked Oregon State.
They are nearly the unanimous No. 4 team in the country, as that is their ranking by Baseball America, D1Baseball, Perfect Game and the USA Today Coaches Poll. However, the NCBWA has them at No. 5.
Arkansas' remaining regular-season opponents - LSU and Texas A&M - are No. 16 and No. 18, respectively. They are two of eight SEC teams in the top 25, which is two more than the ACC for the most from any conference.
The Big 12 and Pac-12 have four teams apiece, while the other three teams hail from The American (East Carolina), Big West (UC-Santa Barbara) and Big Ten (Michigan).
Here is a rundown of the entire composite poll, complete with each team's movement from last week and their highest and lowest ranking of 2019 so far (SEC teams in bold, Arkansas opponents in italics):
