Head coach Sam Pittman and the Arkansas football team will conclude spring practice with the annual spring game on Saturday at Reynolds Razorback Stadium, but some key members of the offense and defense may not be able to play due to minor injuries.

Arkansas' wide receiver room — which is already lacking in top-to-bottom SEC depth — has had to deal with minor injury snags and off-the-field issues to some of its top contributors.

"I think maybe the biggest question mark right now is where we’re at wide receiver-wise because we’ve had several injuries," Pittman said. "We’ve had some hamstrings with Andrew (Armstrong), he was back today. We had a hamstring with Jaedon (Wilson). (Tyrone) Broden has a family situation that he’s handling right now.

"I haven't talked to (Broden) today. It’s a family situation and it’s fluid with when he needs to leave and when he needs to come back and I don’t know exactly what his plans are because I haven’t spoke with him today."

Redshirt freshman wideout Davion Dozier has been making his push for an increase in playing time throughout the spring and has even made some spectacular catches along the way, but he could be limited for the rest of the week after suffering a hand injury in practice on Tuesday morning.

"I don't know if it had something to do with his hand so as soon as we get through here we’ll find that out," Pittman said. "He didn't come back so a lot of times if it’s a hand, that’s not great news but we’ll figure it out."

On the defensive side of the ball, South Alabama transfer cornerback Marquise Robinson and second-year Georgia transfer defensive back Jaheim Singletary are on the outside looking in for playing time this weekend.

"No on Robinson," Pittman said. "Non-surgical, but no on him. Jaheim, (a) possibility. What I'd like to do is get him out Thursday, maybe in seven-on-seven or something like that. Not just throw him in with him being out or maybe do a little bit more with him on Friday."

Big redshirt freshman defensive tackle Ian Geffrard has also had some nagging injuries, but he should be good to go for the rest of the week according to Pittman.

"He’s fine," Pittman said. "He pulled his hamstring. Got split and pulled his ham. I anticipate that he’ll be full speed by Thursday and he’ll be able to play in the spring game."

Saturday's scrimmage will mark the end of a long spring session for the Razorbacks, and Pittman went in-depth on what fans should expect to see and what the format will look like during the game.

"We’ll have a red and a white team and the first half will be just a football game," Pittman said. "We’ll have the ones with the red team, white team will be the twos. Then at half, what we’ll do is take the ones and they’ll be done and then it’ll be the twos against the rest of them. They’ll become the red team.

"We’ll score the game and all that and we’ll have a nice big breakfast for the winners, cereal for the losers and that stuff, but the bottom line is it’ll give — if it goes right the red team will be up at half and the white team should be the better of the two teams. We’ll see what happens, but it’ll give the white team a chance to catch up. So, that’s what we’re going to do. It’ll just be a game."
