Arkansas' awful season got a little bit worse early Sunday morning when redshirt-freshman quarterback Cole Kelley was arrested on suspicion of careless driving and driving while intoxicated.

Kelley, who has made four starts for the 4-6 Razorbacks this season, was booked at 8:47 a.m. Sunday, according to the police report.

“I was informed early this morning of an incident involving Cole Kelley," Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema said in a statement. "We are gathering all information from the proper authorities and will make a determination upon review of that information.”

Kelley, a 20-year-old from Lafayette (La.), was 3 of 10 passing for 36 yards and an interception in the Hogs' 33-10 loss at LSU on Saturday. He came off the bench to relieve starter Austin Allen late in the fourth quarter against the Tigers.

Kelley has 1,038 passing yards, 10 total touchdowns and four picks on the year.

Arkansas hosts Mississippi State this Saturday at 11 a.m.
