KJ Jefferson announces return for final season

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas quarterback KJ Jefferson is headed back to Fayetteville for another season on the Hill.

The redshirt junior signal caller made the announcement on his Instagram page on Friday.

"It's time to fulfill my dreams," Jefferson wrote in the post, "and my dreams wouldn't be complete without one more year on The Hill."

Jefferson has been the starter for the last two seasons for Arkansas, and he threw for 2,361 yards and 22 touchdowns to just four interceptions this season.

The native of Sardis, Mississippi, is the only scholarship quarterback on the Razorback roster, alongside walk-ons Rykar Acebo, a freshman, and Kade Renfro, a redshirt sophomore.
