The Razorbacks picked up good news on Tuesday when Homerville (Ga.) Clinch County defensive end John Mincey became their 11th verbal commitment for the Class of 2018.

Mincey spent a full day on campus before tweeting his decision at almost 4 p.m. He chose the Hogs over offers from Florida, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi State and several others.

"I love the campus," Mincey told HawgSports.com. "I got to talk to all the coaches and loved all of them."

Mincey, who could be viewed as an outside linebacker in addition to defensive end, was thought to have been a lean to UGA while listing Arkansas, Florida, Auburn and Kentucky as his other top schools last month.

But after a hard rush from the Razorbacks and getting to see Fayetteville for himself on Tuesday, he knew the decision was clear.

"I kind of expected to commit today, it just depended on how the visit went and how well I liked it. I loved everything up here and I know this is where I want to be. I know I can help that defensive line and the entire defense."

The Razorbacks now hold 11 commitments for the 2018 class following Luke Jones' pledge last Saturday. Arkansas also counts two blueshirts forward from last year and only plan to sign a total of 15 in this year's haul.
