Arkansas has released its updated roster for the 2017 football season, and as we always do at this time of summer, we've compiled a list of the most notable things to take away from it.
- The biggest storyline on the roster is that 2017 signee Montaric Brown is listed while JUCO transfer Melvin Johnson is not. Brown isn't on campus just yet, though, as he's awaiting final scores from an online course he took this summer. Brown is listed as a 6-0, 175-pound defensive back wearing No. 21.
As first reported by HawgSports weeks ago, there's been a chance that Johnson would either enroll at the start of fall classes or possibly even the following January.
- Linebacker De'Jon Harris is down 13 pounds from last year's roster when he weighed 255. He's listed at 242 now but sources say he's actually in the 235-238-pound range.
