Razorback Career
Alabama native Myles Mason played sparingly as a true freshman but his 106 snaps were spread out across nine different games. Mason was listed on the depth chart behind starter Kamren Curl while his classmate Joe Foucha was the backup for senior Santos Ramirez.
Mason played the most snaps of his freshman season against Eastern Illinois, posting a 55.6 on PFF with one tackle and one allowed reception. He played just one fewer snap against Missouri but increased his grade by 10 points after two tackles, one missed tackle, a stop and no receptions allowed on two targets.
Mason was a candidate to earn a starting job with Ramirez gone but Foucha ended up playing double the snaps that Mason did as a freshman and his experience won out.
As a sophomore, Mason was used as the backup for both Foucha and Curl, racking up 335 snaps in 11 games. He made one start in 2019, filling in for Curl in the season finale against Missouri.
Unlike his teammates who, for the most part, posted their lowest grades of the season against Missouri, Mason showed up to play. He had four tackles, one stop and allowed two receptions on four targets.
