Razorbacks land walk-on kicker

Another 2016 prospect has decided to walk on at Arkansas.

Allen (Texas) kicker Connor Limpert told HawgSports.com Saturday night that he informed Bret Bielema's staff of his decision earlier this week. Limpert, who has a sister who attends the UA, said it was an easy decision.

"It really just came down to my sister being there," Limpert said. "It's a school that I've always wanted to go to.

"I definitely think I can come in and compete next year."

Limpert also visited Fayetteville unofficially a couple of times last year.

The Allen native is rated the No. 11 kicker prospect in the nation according to Kohl's Kicking Camps.

As a senior, Limpert was named First-Team All-County and Second-Team All-District in Class 6-6A.
