Frisco High cornerback Chase Lowery unveiled a top 11 this spring but that hasn't stopped the onslaught of new offers. Among the latest to offer is Arkansas, sending out their 65th offer to the Lone Star State in the 2021 class.

"It came as a surprise, one of the recruiting assistants hit me up out of nowhere a day before it happened asking for some info and Coach Carter called me and let me know about the offer," Lowery said. "He said he watched my film the day before they offered and he let me know, you gotta be ready to play week in and week out because we're playing dogs.

"He likes my versatile skills, even though I'm a corner I can catch because I play offense. And my IQ, since I play offense too, I know where the ball's going to be."

Lowery has never been to Arkansas but has already gotten some positive feedback.

"I know a little bit about the school, one of my friends transferred there," Lowery said. "I've heard some good things and some of my parents friends went there. It's my first major SEC offer so. Where they play and who they're playing, if I want to play past college it's a good fit."

Lowery, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound corner, has 25 Division-I offers and the high volume of offers has made it tough to keep in contact with all the coaches calling.

"I put out the top list at first because those were the 11 that were reaching out the most. I wanted to focus on those 11 so I wouldn't be so spread out. Since then, some more came in and it's just been a lot in and out lately. Most consistent have been Memphis, Purdue, Iowa State and Tech, and Pitt."

Of those five programs named, Lowery has visited Memphis, Iowa State and Texas Tech already.
