Arkansas falls to Aggies again in overtime, 50-43
ARLINGTON – Arkansas lost to Texas A&M, again…for the sixth straight season…this time it was 50-43 in overtime.
Arkansas lost to a Power 5 team, again…for the fourth straight time.
Overtime is usually 50/50, but for Arkansas (1-2, 0-1 SEC) against A&M (3-1, 1-0 SEC) it appears to be 0/100. Not only have the Razorbacks lost six straight to the Aggies, including five under head coach Bret Bielema, they have lost in overtime to the Aggies in three of the last four games.
“Defensively, we just gave up too many big plays,” Bielema said after the game. “Our M.O. in the game in particular has been our downfall, and then obviously, the kickoff return at the end of the game.”
