A second Razorback has announced his decision to take advantage of the new redshirt rule and find a new home after minimal participation through four games of the 2018 season.
Sophomore linebacker Kyrei Fisher took to Twitter Wednesday afternoon to tell everyone he'll leave the program, two days after senior Jonathan Nance announced his intent to redshirt, graduate and transfer out of Arkansas.
The Arkansas staff burned Fisher's redshirt to play special teams as a true freshman in the first and last games of the 2017 season. He had one tackle against Missouri. This season, Fisher has only played seven total snaps, three on defense against Eastern Illinois and four on special teams.
The 6-foot-1, 245-pound linebacker from Tulsa, Oklahoma was an early enrollee in 2017. Fisher was a Rivals 3-star coming out of Union High School and ranked the No. 11 prospect in Oklahoma. He had 12 offers coming out of high school including SMU, Navy, Michigan State, Colorado, Minnesota, Kansas and more.
