PLAYS & DRIVES THAT CHANGED THE GAME
The play of the game came on 4th-and-16 at the Ole Miss 20-yard line with 1:40 remaining in the game. Ole Miss was backed up due to a Dwayne Eugene sack and a false start penalty. Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly scrambled for 15 yards before being drilled by Arkansas safety Santos Ramirez, jarring the ball loose 6 yards the other way and out of bounds. Arkansas got the ball back and was able to run out the clock for the win.
FIRST QUARTER
UM - On the opening series of the game, Austin Allen was sacked on 3rd-and-10 by DeMarquis Gates for a 13-yard loss. The Hogs punted with 13:37 to play in the first. Ole Miss also went 3-and-out, however.
UA - With 10:33 to play in the first quarter, Austin Allen hit Dominique Reed deep on a post over the middle for a 51-yard touchdown bomb to put the Hogs up 7-0 following Adam McFain's extra point. Allen completed all three of his passes and Devwah Whaley ran twice for 16 yards on the 5-play, 82-yard drive. UA 7, UM 0
