Following the 2022 season, the Arkansas football team saw plenty of players hit the transfer portal, and the secondary took the brunt of that hit, losing 10 scholarship pass defenders to the portal.

While many of those players saw a small amount of playing time in Fayetteville, Arkansas needed to — and still does need to — find help via the transfer portal to rebuild its secondary.

During the first period of the open transfer portal from December to January, the Hogs looked to the Baylor program for help in that department, snagging two of the Bears' defensive backs who left to the portal in Alfahiym Walcott and Lorando "Snaxx" Johnson.
