Each week we give you three observations, two questions and one bold prediction. This week we're talking about home-grown Hogs, the 2020 schedule, true freshmen offensive linemen and more.

THREE OBSERVATIONS

1) Razorback Defensive Ends

Chad Morris (and Chief) are putting a lot of pressure on their veteran defensive ends to step up in a major way on the edge this season. Chavis likes to bring heavy pressure but if the defensive ends aren't effective, it could spell trouble for the secondary. Morris called on Gabe Richardson, Dorian Gerald and Jamario Bell on Tuesday and based on what I've seen and heard at practice, these guys are feeling fast, strong and very confident.

Add to that, they're being given a lot of competition from Mataio Soli, Zach Williams, Eric Gregory and Collin Clay. If the offense can keep the defense off the field more this season, I could see the vets being really successful on their own but I think they'll rely on the freshmen for some relief as well.

I think it's Dorian Gerald's time this season and I think if he stays healthy he could be the team's sack-leader.
