Razorback Basketball: 2006 - Arkansas vs. Auburn

On February 11, 2006, the Auburn Tigers traveled to Bud Walton Arena to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks. Heading into this game, Auburn was 10-10 overall and Arkansas was 15-7 overall.

The starting lineup for Arkansas consisted of guard Jonathon Modica, forward Ronnie Brewer Jr., guard Dontell Jefferson, center Steven Hill and forward Charles Thomas.

In the game, Brewer, Modica and Thomas scored a combined 49 points. The bench scored 25 points, including nine from Eric Ferguson. As a team, Arkansas shot 6-18 from three (33.3%) and 29-51 from the field (56.9%).

Interesting Facts

Arkansas held Auburn to just 37.3% field goal shooting, tied for the second lowest total the Razorbacks held a SEC opponent. The other team to shoot 37.3% againt the Hogs? Auburn again, on January 21, 2006.

This was Arkansas second-highest scoring total in a SEC game, just behind 85 points scored against Florida in an overtime game on February 18.

The 20-point margin was the Razorbacks largest in SEC play and fourth-largest all season.

Arkansas' 25 points from the bench was the fifth-most in SEC play during the season.
